Fingerprint noise

Controlled variation added to signals that contribute to a browser fingerprint.

Fingerprint noise is the deliberate introduction of small variations into browser- or device-measured signals. It may reduce the precision of fingerprint matching, but excessive or unstable changes can make a profile look atypical. Effective profile management favors bounded, repeatable, and internally consistent variation.
