Font fingerprinting

Device identification based on installed fonts and how they are rendered.

Font fingerprinting uses the fonts available on a system and their rendering characteristics to help distinguish devices. Differences in font lists, metrics, or rasterization can contribute to a browser fingerprint. In multi-account workflows, abrupt or implausible changes in the font environment may make profiles look inconsistent.
