IP geolocation

Estimating a user’s approximate location and network from their IP address.

IP geolocation estimates a connection’s country, region, city, or network operator from its IP address. Providers rely on address-range databases, routing data, and registration records, so the result is approximate and can be outdated. In multi-account environments, IP location should make sense alongside timezone, language, and browser settings.
