Spoofing
Changing browser or device attributes reported to a website.
Spoofing is the deliberate alteration or simulation of browser- and device-reported attributes, such as the User-Agent, timezone, or screen characteristics. It can support compatibility testing, privacy controls, and profile management, but changing one value alone does not create a coherent identity. Reliable profile configuration requires related signals to agree with one another and with the operating environment.
